Hello, and welcome to Untethered Income. My name is Allen Underwood and I’ve been a business owner/consultant/web programmer for most of my professional life. I currently work for a large corporation as a consultant/programmer, and while I enjoy what I do, working hourly to make money is definitely not among the list of my favorite things. Over the past several years, I’ve started exploring ways to make recurring revenue without having to trade my time for profit, at least not in a manner where 1 hour = a fixed dollar amount. Rather, I’ve started to focus on ways to make my 1 hour turn into recurring income. I want my money to grow AFTER I’ve already put forth my efforts. So to help others out, and help keep me focused as well, I’ve started this site as a bit of a journal and ongoing case study to let you know what’s worked for me and what hasn’t. I will be sharing with you the various money making efforts I have and will pursue as well as all the nitty-gritty details.
My hope is that you will gather some great information to help get you started in your path to financial freedom. I will share my successes, my failures, and all the details I can possibly pack into each posting so that I can help you understand how and why each path brought me closer to my goal or caused me to do a u-turn.
